We invited these new, interesting style creators to pose with one of their favorite looks on the following pages. | Claudia Hill (left) Inspired by pictures of well-dressed, almost formal looking children from the 1940’s and 50’s (“miniature adults,” she calls them), Claudia Hill’s collection brings an avant-garde twist to conservative fabrics and intricate tailoring. Her tweed and wool coats and separates are smaller, tighter and more revealing than expected, and there’s a mixture of bondage and “a confining, mental-institution” feel to suits with huge collars that cover the mouth and close-fitting hats that resemble swim caps.
